"Watercolor was one of the first art mediums I was exposed to and even though I've worked in many mediums, it is the one I always come back to.  It is very challenging to complete a successful watercolor and when it's done there is a great feeling of satisfaction.  The process of getting there is the most exciting part and even though  I plan as much as I can there are always surprises.  Art is communication, and I hope to say something with my paintings that does not need to be explained or put into words."
